refresh is open Tuesdays and fridays 8-11 for showers and sack meals "to go"
Welcome and host people who are experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity as they receive the gift of a hot shower, a meal and connection to services in our church building. The program runs on Tuesday and Friday mornings throughout the year. For more information about this program, proudly co-sponsored with Community Action House, contact Rev. COMMUNITY KITCHEN/warming center
This winter, host our unsheltered neighbors at a Warming Center, as they eat their free Community Kitchen meal in our church building, 11:30-1:30 on weekdays. In December, celebrate with the Community Kitchen patrons at a holiday event just for them. For more information on the Warming Center, contact Allison at Community Action House. Kids Hope
Spend an hour a week during the school year building a life-changing relationship with a child in a local school or be a prayer partner for a mentoring pair. For information on Kid's Hope USA, click here. For information on volunteering through First, contact Rev. LuAnne.

SON, our all-church serving event, looked different in 2020, but we still served our neighbors around town, near our own homes, and our church community as the body of Christ during SON: Antiviral Edition. We'll see what 2021 brings!
