Kids August Classes
Kids entering 1st-entering 5th grade meet every week to worship and learn. Kids start out in the main worship service with their families. After the Children’s Time, kids are guided out by their teachers and can be picked up in the Education Wing, Room 101 at the end of the service. Here are the stories and Bible passages we will be covering so you can read and talk about them with your child:
Theme for August: The Hunt: Wisdom is worth searching for. Life App: Wisdom—Finding out what you should do and doing it.

Aug. 5 Jesus grows in wisdom (Luke 2:41-52) Bottom Line: If you want to be wise, search for wisdom.
Aug. 12 Wise People See Danger (Proverbs 22:3) Bottom Line: If you want to be wise, look before you leap.
Aug. 19 Rehoboam Listens to Fools
(2 Chronicles 10 & Proverbs 13:20) Bottom Line: If you want to be wise, hang out with wise people.
Aug. 26 Trust in the Lord (Proverbs 3:5-6 & 1 Kings 10:1-10) Bottom Line: If you want to be wise, trust God to give you wisdom.
Sept. 2 Nehemiah Hears about the Wall (Nehemiah 1:1-2:9) Bottom Line: Be on the lookout for what needs to be done.
