Bread Pan for August
We all know college costs have skyrocketed, and completing a college or graduate degree is a more expensive endeavor than ever before. In the past 40 years college costs are up over 1000%, exponentially higher than other costs, such as food and clothing.
There are UMC young people, as well as, pastors (including several from FUMC Holland)— who might not have had the resources to attend a school of their choice, or any school at all—who’ve been sent by you into the world God loves. Your giving to United Methodist Student Day has made it possible!
This worldwide offering among UM Churches assists college and seminary students with scholarships and low-interest loans to help them complete their education. When you give, you support these students as they prepare for a life that unites faith with knowledge.
What no one person or congregation can do alone, the United Methodist Church is doing together. Please, give generously to the bread pan offering on August 19 for United Methodist Student Scholarships.
