reverend Brad Bartelmay

Brad was born and raised in the greater Youngstown, Ohio area and is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in Geology and Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois with a Master of Divinity degree. He is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and a past recipient of the Denman Evangelism Award. Brad enjoys the outdoors, has been a backpacker, camper, and hiker since childhood, and has explored national and regional parks across North America. He also enjoys cooking and is an avid reader. His wife Sherri is also a pastor and they have three sons.

reverend Tania Dozeman

Tania is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and received her Master of Divinity degree from Garrett-Evangelical in May of 2018. She has an undergraduate degree from Hope College and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Education from Western Michigan University. Prior to the emergence of a call to ministry, she worked in public education as a teacher and as a school counselor. Tania is married to Ted and has four kids, two of whom have four legs. She is passionate about faith formation and is always seeking creative ways to engage disciples to cultivate their spiritual lives.

Reverend Luanne stanley Hook

LuAnne is an ordained deacon in the United Methodist Church. She is a native Hoosier who has lived in Tennessee and Utah, and has called Michigan "home" since 2000. She has an undergraduate degree from DePauw University, and a Master of Divinity from The Divinity School at Vanderbilt University. Before joining the staff at FUMC Holland, LuAnne worked in various areas of ministry, social work and counseling. LuAnne is married to Tim, and has two young adult sons, as well as a rambunctious French bulldog, Piston. She enjoys reading, crafts, traveling, nature, and chocolate, not necessarily in that order.

Erin Glutting

Erin was born and raised in the Detroit area. In her late teen years, she had a profound conversion from being a religious person to one who delights in knowing God intimately. She attended Ferris State University and attained undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Information Systems. Prior to working at First, Erin had a variety of computer, accounting, and office jobs located throughout Michigan. In addition to raising three sons, she assisted her husband in mission work for 35 years. Erin enjoys the outdoors, gardening, and animals.

Andrew Stange

Andrew joined the team in September of 2020. As the Director of Worship and Technology, he is passionate about creating worship experiences that are multi-sensory and deeply engaging. As a graduate from Western Michigan University's School of Music, Andrew has a love for the piano and the organ. Andrew believes that worship isn't just a single experience but a way of life. Andrew comes to the Holland area with his wife, Sarah and their beast of a dog, Mohinder.

Sonrisa cortes

Sonrisa comes to from the east coast, by way of NY and NJ. She has an undergraduate degree in Anthropology, and in April 2022 she completed her double masters, A Master of Divinity from Western Theological Seminary, a certificate of Disability Ministry, and her Masters of Social Work from Grand Valley State University. Sonrisa is a certificated candidate in the UMC, and is discerning her call to ministry. She uses her new found free time to take naps, read books for fun, spend time in nature, and go for walks with her dog, and Husband, Tom.

Julia Colingsworth
Organist and Choir Director email
At age nine, Julia became the Sunday School accompanist at her home church. Six years later she began her career as a church organist and has been a church organist and choir director ever since. She double majored at Western Michigan University in Elementary Education and Music Education, and later went back for a Master of Music degree. She has a second Master's degree in Family and Child Ecology from Michigan State University. Her career has included teaching classroom and music in K-12 and more recently, social work, specifically child welfare. Julia has four adult daughters, four adult stepchildren, and 19 grandchildren. Her hobby is finding host families for, and supervising, high school age international exchange students.
