Celebration Ringers The Celebration Ringers will begin rehearsals for fall on Tuesday August 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Rehearsals will go to 8 p.m. Celebration Ringers is open by audition for experienced handbell players. For further information, contact David Newton.

Tintinnabulation Ringers The Tintinnabulation Ringers will begin rehearsals for fall on Tuesday, August 21 at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary. Rehearsals will go to 3 p.m. Tintinnabulation Ringers is open to any adult interested in playing handbells. For further information, contact David Newton.

Festival Singers If you enjoy singing contemporary, praise, gospel, global, or spiritual music, the Festival Singers is open to high school age and adults. The Festival Singers will start rehearsals for fall on Wednesday, August 29 at 8 p.m. in the sanctuary. Childcare will be provided.

Chancel Choir If you enjoy singing the beloved classic music of the church, the Chancel Choir is open to adults. The Chancel Choir will begin rehearsals for the fall on Wednesday, September 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Children’s and Youth Vocal Choirs There are Vocal Choirs available for all ages.

The Angelic Choir is open to children one year prior to kindergarten and kindergarten.  Further information about when the Angelic Choir begins rehearsals will be in upcoming newsletters and bulletins. 

The Cherub Choir is for children from first to fourth grades.  The Cherub Choir will begin rehearsals on Wednesday, September 12 from 6:30-7:15 p.m. in Room 301.

The Junior Choir is open to youth from fifth to eighth grades.  The Junior Choir will begin rehearsals on Wednesday, September 12 from 5:00-5:45 p.m. in Room 301.

Contact Marj Haney for further information about the Cherub or Junior choirs. Children’s and Youth Chime and Bell Choirs For Chime and Bell players First United Methodist Church offers a variety of choirs. 

The Beginning Chime Choir is open to children in the third through sixth grades.  The Beginning Chime Choir will start rehearsals on Wednesday, September 12 at 4:15 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the basement Music Room.

The Intermediate Chime Choir is open to intermediate level chime ringers in the fourth through sixth grades. The Intermediate Chime Choir will rehearse beginning on Wednesday, September 12 from 5:00-5:45 p.m. in the basement Music Room.

The Chime Choir is open to advanced chime ringers in the fourth through sixth grades. The Chime Choir will rehearse beginning Wednesday, September 12 from 7:15 through 8:00 p.m. in the basement Music Room. 

The Beginning Bell Choir is open to youth from sixth grade up who have played chimes or bells before. The Beginning Bell Choir will start rehearsals on Sunday, September 9 from 4:00-4:45 p.m. in the basement Music Room. Instrumentalists Do you play a brass or woodwind instrument, guitar, keyboards, or percussion?  Our Praise Band is looking for players to join in.  Also, we are looking for brass players to play for our Christmas Eve, Thanksgiving Eve, and Easter services.  Contact David Newton for further information.
