For thousands of years people have engaged in the creative exploration of their relationship to God (or gods). Through the varied forms of artistic expression man has wrestled with the weighty issues of faith and holiness, and given to the world a rich history of beautiful pieces of art that continue to inspire and challenge us even today.  In this three week series lay leader and Art Professor, Andy Snyder will help you explore expressions of faith and unpack the stories and inspiration behind the making of sacred artworks. We will begin with a DVD and discussion of the depiction of Christ throughout history, followed by a presentation on contemporary manifestations of the sacred and conclude the series with a discussion centered on Andy’s personal journey to discover how his own faith has impacted his artwork
