Celebration Ringers The Celebration Ringers rehearses on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Rehearsals will go to 8 p.m. Celebration Ringers is open by audition for experienced handbell players. For further information, contact David Newton.

Tintinnabulation Ringers The Tintinnabulation Ringers rehearses on Tuesdays at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary. Rehearsals will go to 3 p.m. Tintinnabulation Ringers is open to any adult interested in playing handbells. For further information, contact David Newton.

Festival Singers If you enjoy singing contemporary, praise, gospel, global, or spiritual music, the Festival Singers is open to high school age and adults. The Festival Singers rehearses on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. in the sanctuary. Childcare is provided.

Chancel Choir If you enjoy singing the beloved classic music of the church, the Chancel Choir is open to adults. The Chancel Choir rehearses on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Rehearsals will last until 8 p.m. Childcare is provided. Contact Julia Colingsworth at 796-0553 for further information.

Children’s and Youth Vocal Choirs There are Vocal Choirs available for all ages.

The Angelic Choir is open to children one year prior to kindergarten and kindergarten.  Angelic Choir rehearses Sunday mornings from 9:50-10:10 in Room 201 of the Education Building. Marilyn Kelly is the leader, contact her at 748-7543. 

The Cherub Choir is for children from first to fourth grades.  The Cherub Choir rehearses on Wednesdays 5:00-5:45 p.m. in Room 304.

The Junior Choir is open to youth from fifth to eighth grades.  The Junior Choir rehearses on Wednesdays 6:30-7:15 p.m. in Room 304.

Contact Marj Haney for further information about the Cherub or Junior choirs. Children’s and Youth Chime and Bell Choirs For Chime and Bell players First United Methodist Church offers a variety of choirs. 

The Beginning Chime Choir is open to children in the third through sixth grades.  The Beginning Chime Choir rehearses on Wednesdays 4:15 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the basement Music Room.

The Wednesday Youth Bells is open to intermediate level ringers in the fourth through sixth grades. They rehearse on Wednesdays from 5:00-5:45 p.m. in the Sanctuary.  

The Sunday Youth Bell Choir is open to youth from sixth grade up who have played chimes or bells before. They rehearses on Sundays 4:00-4:45 p.m. in the basement Music Room. Contact David Newton for further information about the chime and handbell program.

Instrumentalists Do you play a brass or woodwind instrument, guitar, keyboards, or percussion?  Our Praise Band is looking for players to join in.  Also, we are looking for brass players to play for our Christmas Eve, Thanksgiving Eve, and Easter services.  Contact David Newton for further information.
