What is the Outreach Team about?
Posted March 14th, 2007 by mderidder
THE OUTREACH MINISTRY TEAM The Outreach Ministries Team of the church gives attention to local and larger community ministries of compassion and advocacy such as: church and social issues, global ministry concerns, including missionary support, health and welfare ministries and religion and race. It serves as the primary planning and implementation body in the area of Outreach ministries.
The team leader is currently Keith Laidler. It is understood that each team leader may assemble a team of “do-ers” based on a person’s gifts and talents – as a Work Group or Task Force. This team will consist of however many persons are deemed necessary to accomplish the coordinator’s assigned tasks for whatever time is needed. Teams and their contact persons are listed below. Please feel free to call a contact person if you would like to serve on one (or more) of these groups.
The Outreach Ministry Team is supported by the work of the Director of Outreach Ministries staff person who meets with the Outreach Ministries Team and who is available as a resource person for any of the Work Groups on the Outreach Ministry Team. That person is Tracy Garrett.
