The spring session of Dock Therapy - UMM's service project at Lakeview UM Campground - is scheduled for Saturday, May 17. All men - as well as their junior helpers - are invited to meet at the camp at 11:00. Or catch the church bus, which will our parking lot at 9:30 (excess volunteers will car pool). Parking Attendants Needed for Tulip Time 2008!!!

Our United Methodist Men (UMM) sponsor the parking of cars and buses in the church parking lots on parade days during the annual Tulip Time Festival week. For 2008 the parade days are: Wednesday, May 7 - VolksParade; Thursday, May 8 – KinderParade; (Rain-date is Friday, May 9); and Saturday, May 10, MuzickParade. Volunteers are needed to help park vehicles on each parade day from approx. 8:30am to 2:30pm.

If we get enough volunteers, we can run approx. 2 hour shifts, so we will not have to be out there all day. If you can help out on any day for any period of time, please contact Walt Garrett at the church or phone: 616- 393-9641.

 

 

 

 

Thank you to all who donated for and/or worked on our March 30 Blood Drive. 

We collected 45 pints, 5 short of our goal. 

Our next drive is scheduled on June 22. 

Sign ups will take place the Sunday prior to that date.  Give the gift of life.
